Vision Council of America

The Vision Council is a nonprofit trade association for manufacturers and suppliers of the optical industry in the United States. Its services include research, training and industry networking events. It is located in Alexandria, Virginia. The Vision Council aims to create awareness of the value and importance of vision care and to grow the eyewear and vision care market. The organization accomplishes this through education, forums and expositions, industry statistics and data, technical standards, marketing/public relations and advocacy.[citation needed]
