Louisiana Energy Services

National Enrichment Facility (NEF) is a plant under construction for the refinement of uranium fuel for nuclear power plants by gas centrifuge. It is located 5 miles east of Eunice, New Mexico. The NEF is operated by Louisiana Energy Services (LES) which is in turn owned by the Urenco Group.
