Leah Vukmir (born April 26, 1958) is a Wisconsin nurse and Republican politician, formerly a state representative for the 14th Assembly District and now a member of the Wisconsin State Senate. She was first elected in the November 2002 election, succeeding Scott Walker (R), who was elected in a special election as Milwaukee County Executive. She was re-elected in 2004 through 2008. Vukmir was the ranking member of the Assembly’s Committee on Health and Health Care Reform. She is also a member of the committees on Public Health, Education Reform, Education and Criminal Justice.
