James Louis "Jim" Oberstar (born September 10, 1934) is a former U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 8th congressional district. He served from 1975 until 2011, and was the chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee from 2007 until 2011. He is a member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.
